Responsible for providing client advisory to B/Ds on using GCIS services and providing support to B/D's users on the migration of systems/applications from existing data centres to new Data Centre Complex (GDCC). 

Seconded to our clients of public sector to perform the followings:

• To assist the project manager to monitor the migration progress of B/D's systems/application from GCIS existing data centres to the newly setup GCIS in GDCC and to review the project deliverables; 
• To monitor the contractor for the implementation of infrastructure setup of GCIS in GDCC;
• To prepare the migration schedule and coordinate with B/D's users on migration arrangement;
• To provide technical advice to B/D's users on their migration approaches; and
• To handle the requests raised by B/D's users during the migration processes.
  
  
   

• Degree holder in Computer Science or related discipline;
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification IT experience with at least 1 years of experience in similar capacity.
• Sound knowledge in cloud computing and have at least two-year working experience in server virtualization environment by using VMware vSphere and VMware vCenter;
• At least two-year working experience in server support, Storage Area Network (SAN) storage, and Virtual Machines (VM) backup and SAN replication solution; 
• Solid working experience in VM migration in cloud environment; and
• Solid working experience in clients support.
•  Holder of the following certifications is a definite advantage:
  • VMware Certified Professional in Data Center Virtualization 2021 or above.
  • VMware Certified Professional in Network Virtualization 2021 or above.
• Must be able to communicate in written and verbal English and Chinese to deliver his/her duties.
